Sielesnew, Amber

We lived on a small farm. The first horse that came to live on our farm was a Bucksin mare named Sandy. Soon came a horse of my own, a Rocky Mountain mare named Bridgette. She was with foal when I got her and she delivered a beautiful black baby with four wite socks in the spring. I can remember lying down in the stall next to the new baby while her mother gingerly stepped around us. She was a trusted friend.

I have always sketched pictures, mainly for fun. As a child, one of my sketches was chosen as a US postage stamp in an endangered species contest for children. Another sketch I did was selected for display in China in an exchange contest for children. I used mainly pencils and inks for my work.
