Here is the reaction from one artist who's design was chosen to be crafted into a figurine in 2017:

THANK YOU!! I am thrilled with the news of my design being chosen!! I have literally dreamed of this day, with every design I've imagined for the last 8 years!!! I am also honored to know that my design will join others that are so well received and loved throughout the world...my first priority will always be, to make TTOPP proud to have made this decision!
With my heartfelt thanks again,
Sharon

The Trail of Painted Ponies Artists

From the start, The Trail of Painted Ponies has stressed the importance of artistic excellence. We take our curatorial responsibilities seriously, and The Trail of Painted Ponies is known for its originality, artistic merit, creative diversity, and innovative use of the horse as a three-dimensional canvas on which to paint.

The Trail of Painted Ponies believes that inside each one of us is an artist that is simply waiting to be discovered.

Artists come to The Trail in many ways. We have issued calls for designs in national art magazines, our web site, direct mail, and through art festivals. While many of our artists also show in distinguished art galleries, just as many could be considered "emerging artists" whose talents are being showcased before an international audience for the first time.

This is what keeps The Trail of Painted Ponies imagery so fresh and exciting. Ponies have been painted by fine artists and folk artists, graphic designers and children's book illustrators, executives, furniture makers and architects, and creative minds that defy categorization. What they all have in common is their gift for inventively transforming a blank horse sculpture into a dazzling work of original art.

Everyone is invited to become a Trail of Painted Ponies Artist!
