Do you have a question for us? Please use this form to ask.

We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Is there a way to repair the pony ornaments? I dropped one of my poinies and it was so fragile it broke both front legs. Do you know of someone who repairs them? Ivy
Response From Trailmaster:
The person who repairs broken ornaments and figurines for us uses super glue, and then tries to match the paint to hide the cracks.

Sally from Kentucky wrote on January 05, 2013:
I am trying to find "cases" to display and protect my ponies. Where can I find individual cases that are sized for one horse?
Response From Trailmaster:
We wish we had a good answer, because we have looked to. A good way of displaying a collection of around twelve is in the glass display cabinets available through Ikea. They are also designed to accomodate good lighting.

Beckie Endebrock from Cypress, Texas wrote on January 05, 2013:
Will there be an autographed edition of "Harmony"
Response From Trailmaster:
The Trail will not be offering an Autographed Edition of "Painted Harmony," but the artist has expressed an interest in setting aside a certain number of "Painted Harmony" figurines that she will personally sign for collectors.

Grace wrote on January 03, 2013:
How many design competitions on average does Trail Of Painted Ponies do each year?
Response From Trailmaster:
Generally, we do three design competitions. The Fall and Holiday competitions, and a special one. Last year it was the competition co-sponsored by the American Paint Horse Association. This year... the new competition and its theme will be announced on March 1.

I will soon be starting college and I was wondering what type of school requirements a product designer might need to work at your company.
Response From Trailmaster:
We don't have strict "school requirements." What we would suggest is, as you take classes, when you are given the liberty to explore different product concepts, you should keep us in mind. Where you can, use one of our five forms. And feel free to send us the results. You just never know where it might lead.

I know that The Trail Of Painted Ponies and Horse Whispers Collections are partners and have the same founder. So I was wondering if at some point people would be able to submit designs for the Horse Whispers Collection just like we can for the Trail Of Painted Ponies Collection?
Response From Trailmaster:
In fact, on the Horse Whispers website (www.horsewhispers.com), under Submit Your Photo, we do invite people to upload pictures that we will consider for translation into figurines, with the reward of a free figurine for those we select. If you prefer to submit drawings, we would be more than glad to consider them, and work out a compensation arrangement for those we use.

Jodee from Colorado wrote on January 01, 2013:
Hi, I was just wondering if some ponies were still going to be retired Jan.1st or 2nd? Thanks
Response From Trailmaster:
We normally announce our Painted Pony winter retirements in our February 1, website update.

I Order an Autograph pony for my granddaugther for Christmas when she open it the pony was not connected to the base. What do I need to have this corrected.
Response From Trailmaster:
We apologize for this happening. Please call Treasures from the Vault at 855-868-2427 and let them know what happened. The customer service department is very responsive and will be glad to replace your Pony.

dorastahl from albuquerque nm wrote on December 28, 2012:
I have 6 of the painted ponies like to know prices.
Response From Trailmaster:
Not sure what you're asking here. If your Ponies were given to you and you want to know their retail prices, you can either check with a local retailer or go onto our Official Trail of Painted Ponies store. If you're asking about their resale value at the moment, we suggest you go to eBay and see what similar Ponies are selling for.

Rebecca from Missouri wrote on December 25, 2012:
I recently was given a painted pony as a gift and it has a huge flaw in the paint. It was bought from your site on the internet. Also it does not have the certificate with it . What should I do?
Response From Trailmaster:
We stand behind the quality of all Painted Ponies and want all our collectors to be satisfied. If you think there is a flaw in the painting of one, please send a picture to info@paintedponies.com and we will be glad to help you resolve this. As for Certificates of Authenticity, they only come with Autographed Editions so if your Pony was part of this special edition, please also let us know.
