We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Is the paint mare and foal available yet, also the pony at the top of this page??
Response From Trailmaster:
"Painted Harmony," the figurine with a foal running beside her mother, will be announced and available for pre-order on our website on January 2. It will be shipping mid-February. The Pony pictured at the top of this page is "Happy Trails," and it is retired. You may be able to find one on Treasures from the Vault.

I have a Painted Pony that is not numbered except for the item #. What does this mean? It is Tip-Toe Through The Tulips item# 12269.
Response From Trailmaster:
It sounds as if this particular Painted Pony slipped through the hand-numbering process at the foundry without being numbered. That happens - rarely, but sometimes.

Wanda Brown from Ruffin, South Carolina wrote on December 15, 2012:
If Beary Merry Christmas is a new 2012 holiday pony, why is 2011 stamped on the bottom of the horse?
Response From Trailmaster:
The date stamped on the bottom of a figurine is the date it was copyrighted, not necessarily the year it was released.

Katrea Howard from South Carolina wrote on December 15, 2012:
Is there anyway to find current market values of your ponies?
Response From Trailmaster:
So many factors come into play. Edition number. Popularity. Condition. Autographed? Retired. Are any others available at the time you're selling yours. Checking and seeing what the piece is selling for on eBay will give you a good idea of current market values.

Yes. This fantastic figurine, which can be viewed on our Facebook page and our Christmas card, will be released on January 2, 2013.

Paul from San Diego wrote on December 11, 2012:
Many moons ago I came across the original painted ponies located in one place as an exhibition. Are the originals located in one place and can they be visited? Regards Paul
Response From Trailmaster:
Many moons ago we rounded up almost 100 of the life-size Painted Ponies at a Premium Outlet store in Santa Fe. They were a sight to behold. Then we held a series of auctions and sold the Painted Ponies directly to businesses and people, and although it's fun to think of a retrospective and bringing them all back together for a big roundup, that probably won't happened.

Where can I find the poems and short stories I submitted online
Response From Trailmaster:
We have many of the submissions - and there were a lot of great ones - in a file in our office, but they are not accssible online.

Andy Kay from Texas wrote on December 11, 2012:

Response From Trailmaster:
Only in ceramic.

Beverly Spraggins from Spring Branch, Texas wrote on December 10, 2012:
I recently saw a figurine title "Harmony". Believe it was a contest entry. It was a paint mare and colt. Do you anticipate that this might be produced in the future?
Response From Trailmaster:
"Painted Harmony," which was the winning design in the National Art Competition co-sponsored with the American Paint Horse Association, will be released as a special figurine in January 2013.
