Artist Testimonials
I got my start with The Trail of Painted Ponies in 2012 when one of my designs titled “Spirit of the Chief” was chosen to be created into a figurine. It was an exciting time in my career, already having received many awards from International Equine Artists and the Gallery Choice Award from the Calgary Stampede. It provided a diversity in direction and expanded my art into figurines. For the past 12 years it has been a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of this great company and to be an Official Painted Ponies Artist.
Each design I submit is carefully hand painted with great thought and special attention to detail. I feel that truly makes them authentic based on the artist style, talent, and imagination. Originality is everything when coming up with a new design. The Trail has many artists, and each one has a unique quality that gives the diversity that makes these beautiful figurines so sought after. I have truly enjoyed my journey with The Trail of Painted Ponies and hope to bring many new ideas in the upcoming future.

When I was just a little girl, I fell in love with The Trail of Painted Ponies figurines. Walking into a Hallmark store in the year 2007, my eyes lit up upon gazing at the collection of Christmas Painted Ponies. I admired every exquisite detail, and I loved how each one was unique. Ever since, I have looked forward to new releases each season and dreamed of designing my very own Ponies. I never expected back then that someday, that dream would become a reality. My very first horse won the 2014 Holiday Design Competition and was crafted into a figurine years later. This design is titled “Gloria,” my first Christmas Pony. The process of seeing a 2D drawing turn into a fully produced horse figurine is remarkable, and I have been so blessed to have many more figurines crafted after “Gloria.” It has not only helped me grow as an artist, but it has allowed me to experience what it’s like working with product design. This has been a long-term interest of mine, and what makes it even more special is that I truly love this company. The Trail of Painted Ponies provides opportunities for everyone to become an artist and to share their love of horses, and that makes their designs even more spectacular.
