Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

I would like to know if 3 ponies I have are worth anything without the boxes? I have Route 66, Happy Trials and a red orange black and white saddle ponie, they are all discontinued
Response From Trailmaster:
Serious collectors will always pay more if the Ponies come in their original boxes, along with the story cards. But you may find someone who is happy with the figurine alone, or in the company of several others.

Christal from Florida wrote on April 27, 2015:
I am moving and was wondering the best way to pack up my painted ponies so they do not break. I have about 12 of them.
Response From Trailmaster:
Wrap them individually and generously in bubble wrap, then fit them snugly in a large cardboard box that is padded with bubble wrap, and do not put anything heavy on top.

I have 3 ponies and would like to know if they are collectable and worth anything, 1st one is Route 66, 2nd one is Happy Trails, 3rd oneis najavo pony blanket, I sadly have no boxes as got lost at grandparents house, I just need some advice please?
Response From Trailmaster:
Happy Trails and Navajo Blanket Pony would be the two most collectible of the three, because they are much older. It's possible that someone who already has these but has a much higher edition number, and has the box they came in, would be interested. We're hearing that a number of collectors are looking to upgrade their collection in this way.

Elsa from Montana wrote on April 22, 2015:
If your pony has been accepted to the collection, do you as the artist get a copy of the design?
Response From Trailmaster:
Artists whose designs are crafted into a figurine receive a $500 honorarium, plus five very low edition complimentary copies, and the right to purchase as many more as they want at a wholesale price.

Jean Lummis from South Jersey wrote on April 22, 2015:
I have a Zuni Mare with the name plate upsidedown. Are there any other mistakes reported? Is it worth anything?
Response From Trailmaster:
When there are mistakes like this - and this is the first of this kind we have heard about - they generally do not add perceived value to a Pony.

Julie from Michigan wrote on April 21, 2015:
I have a pony and it got droped. I needto find a replacement or at least the name. can someone help me
Response From Trailmaster:
The name of your Pony should be on the underside of the base. To find a replacement you can either type the name into the Search Feature on our Official Website Store, or look on eBay for a seller who has it available.

Roberta Cruz from Fargo ND wrote on April 09, 2015:
I love the contest winner pony of the baby fawn. Will this one become a figurine I can buy?
Response From Trailmaster:
This Pony has won a lot of hearts, and we will seriously be considering it as a future figurine.

Denise from GA wrote on April 02, 2015:
The new Spring ponies are really great. Will the Trail consider doing a Groom pony?
Response From Trailmaster:
If the response to Wedding Pony is strong, that would make sense.

kim from Indiana wrote on April 02, 2015:
I know that the first 12 castings are "Blue Ribbon" figurines. But is that the first twelve from every edition or just the "1E"? Could a 2E 00010 be a blue ribbon?
Response From Trailmaster:
No. The Blue Ribbon Edition is the first twelve castings of the First Edition only.

Roberta from Fargo ND wrote on April 02, 2015:
Will a figurine becoming out of the contest winner who did the fawn?
Response From Trailmaster:
Look for the design with a fawn on it to come out in the winter of 2016.
