We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

How do I return a broken painted pony?
Response From Trailmaster:
I'm not sure about your question. Did it accidentally break after you purchased it? Was it broken when you opened the box it came in?

Margaret Summers from Wishaw, Scotland wrote on December 26, 2015:
Before Christmas I bought a Route 66 painted pony by Eileen Sokoloff which is really beautiful. I am trying to register this but cannot quite decipher the number which looks like 4E/1145 but the writing is not very clear. It is copyrighted 2004. Can you help me here to register what is a really lovely piece? Many thanks!
Response From Trailmaster:
If you could take a picture of the bottom of the base and send it to us, we will try and help you "decipher." Because the numbering on the Ponies is hand-done, it is sometimes difficult to figure out. Sorry.

Linda Smith from Stow, OH wrote on December 21, 2015:
does painted Ponies come out with different occasions ornaments besides Christmas?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes, each January we introduce five new ornaments we call the Collectors Choice Collection. These are ornaments based on the most popular figurines, and are not Holiday ornaments.

is there a horse to do with the dinosaur age as my daughter loves horses and dinosaurs so I was hoping to combine the two??
Response From Trailmaster:
We have received a number of great dinosaur designs on Painted Ponies, but we have not created any figurines with them. Sorry.

where can I find a painted ponie called country Christmas?
Response From Trailmaster:
If we don't have one in our Official Store (which has a Search feature), your best bet is eBay.

What was the original price of the 2E QuarterHorse? I have #1156.
Response From Trailmaster:
Depending on where it was purchased, around $40.

Leon Meyer from Grand Duchy of Luxembourg wrote on December 01, 2015:
Are the prices in the Shop all Us taxes included???
Response From Trailmaster:
We do not charge or collect taxes on international shipments. Our charges are for shipping only. All international packages are sent by Global Priority Mail, and the recipient country will typically charge Duties and Taxes, which we cannot estimate.

I am looking for the Silver Lining Painted Pony, is it still available?
Response From Trailmaster:
That was a very popular piece that sold well and has long been retired. Your best bet would be to look on eBay.

Steve from Wa wrote on November 27, 2015:
How is the "standard edition" different?
Response From Trailmaster:
To look at them, "standard edition" figurines are the same as every other figurine. They are not different castings. What differentiates the Autographed and Blue Ribbon Editions are the first is hand-signed by the artist who created the original design, and the second has an especially low edition number. Both of these are perceived to have more value by serious collectors.
