We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

What can you tell me about Happy Trails Painted Ponies #1423.
Response From Trailmaster:
The most interesting thing about Happy Trails is that it was created by Rocket Buster Boots, a cowboy boot company based in El Paso that was a favorite of former President George W Bush.

I have been looking through the horses and wanted to know if you are coming out with any new Valentine Day special horses. If so, I would like to know when you are coming out with them. Thanks!
Response From Trailmaster:
The next Pony that has a Valentine's Day theme will not be released until this summer. It's title is "Rope My Heart." But visit the Official Store and you will find other Ponies that might work for you for this special occasion.

Response From Trailmaster:
At this point, the easiest way to do that would probably be for you to have someone add a name to the figurine yourself, using a marker that could be provided by a local crafts store.

Kellie from Calif USA wrote on January 31, 2018:
Is there a difference in value for Trail of Painted Ponies made by Enesco and those made by Westland Giftware?
Response From Trailmaster:
Not an intrinsic difference in value, other than that the Ponies manufactured by Westland Giftware are older and have been retired for quite some time. But then we didn't start adding title plaques until we transitioned to Enesco..

Am I right in assuming that the Large 15 inch Masterpiece Collection piece of War Cry is retired? Can you tell me the number of them that were produced? Thank you.
Response From Trailmaster:
This large figurine was released and was only available in 2010. It has not been officially retired, so we do not have the final edition number at this time.

Melissa from Kentucky wrote on January 17, 2018:
I am trying to register my ponies on the site and, for some reason, it will not add Big Ben. It added all the others without a problem.
Response From Trailmaster:
We tried to register it and it worked fine. When registering a figurine, start with the item number 4027951 and the figurine image and information should automatically populate.

Mitch Gill from Near seattle wa wrote on January 16, 2018:
I have number 12271 Autumn Dancer. It has a date of 2008 and the artist name of Mike Dow but here is the strange part...there is no numbers on it at all. I have looked everywhere but nothing. If interested I can send a picture.
Response From Trailmaster:
The artist who created this piece is Mike Dowdal, and he was the Art Director at Westland Giftware when they were manufacturing Painted Ponies. It appears that for some reason - human error, most likely - the numbering process on this figurine was overlooked. This makes it an anomaly, but does not really add any particular value to the piece.
