We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

Debra from New Mexico wrote on April 27, 2013:
What if I do not have the tag nor the box for my painted pony. Are they still a valuable collectible
Response From Trailmaster:
There's no getting around it. Having the tag and the original box make for a more complete collectible set, and thus more valuable in the eyes of most collectors. But you may have have an especially low edition number. Or the piece could be handsigned by the artist. Those details would be an offsetting factor. Plus, there may be someone out there who just wants that piece, wants it now, and doesn't care about the packaging.

Will you show all the entries for the Appaloosa National Art Competition? I would sure love to see them all.
Response From Trailmaster:
We have been dealing with some issues on our server that have meant questions to the Trailmaster were not received. I will attempt to answer them now. As you probably know by now, we did not show all the entries. There were just too many. We had to narrow them down to ten in each category.

Alan Martin from Tallassee Alabama wrote on April 16, 2013:

Please check out the Frequently Asked Questions in the navigation at the top of the homepage of our website. There you will find the answer to this and other questions.

I have over 20 ponies I would like to sell. Where can I find the price value for them, and where can I sell them?
Response From Trailmaster:
The best place currently would be eBay. Look at Painted Ponies for sale that are similar to yours, and that will give you an approximate idea of their value if you want to sell them today.

Do you still make the coffee mugs?
Response From Trailmaster:
Over the year we have offered Painted Pony coffee mugs in different sizes, with different designs. Some are still available on our Official Store. You can expect the next generation of coffee mugs to look quite different from what has come before, and we will be introducing them in 2014.

emilie from illinois wrote on April 01, 2013:
is there a pony that has a manatee on it?
Response From Trailmaster:
Perhaps a custom Painted Pony with a manatee on it was created by an artist, but there has not been one that fits this description that is part of an official release.

just wondering if you could please update your list of TOPP retailers. i have personally ran into several problems trying to locate these retailers. some do not exist or the addresses are completly worng. and 2 of the stores i went to in myrtle beach dont even sell mthem anymore. i was so disappointed.collectors need a up to date listing of where to find TOPPs.
Response From Trailmaster:
We do update our retailer list several times a year. It would probably be advisable to call ahead first and make sure the store near you has the figurines you are interested in in stock.

Linda Tabraham from TX wrote on March 30, 2013:
Your retired Medicine Horse is showing out of stock. Will you ever have it available again?
Response From Trailmaster:
If it shows retired and out-of-stock on the Official Trail of Painted Ponies website, that means that piece is not only no longer going to be produced, we have no more to sell. Check with your local retailer or online. When you ask if we will ever have it available again, if by that you mean will we go back at some point and create more, the answer is no. That would break our promise to Painted Pony collectors. We wouldn't do that.
