Do you have a question for us? Please use this form to ask.

We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

I just purchased "Golden Girl" which has 1E/8,641 on the base, but I have now read there were only 8,400 issued. Is mine a fake?
Response From Trailmaster:
I doubt it's a fake. Where edition numbers have been "faked," a lower edition number is usually the goal. It's difficult to explain what happened, other than to say it was probably a human error.

Lisa Cunningham from Indianapolis, IN wrote on October 29, 2016:
I missed the blank download coloring page of Many Tribes. Is there a way to obtain it now? Thank you.
Response From Trailmaster:
Thanks for your inquiry. We created that coloring page section as a preview for a new Trail of Painted Ponies adult coloring book. There will be a series of adult coloring books based on Painted Pony imagery. The first will be the Native American Edition, and the official publication date will be March 2017, but it should be available earlier. We will let everyone know in advance.

I have several horses that need to be repaired....is that possible?
Response From Trailmaster:
Without knowing the extent of the repairs that are needed, the best we can do is refer you to a local crafts store for their advice.

Are these a resin or ceramic horse? Some models resemble Breyer molds.
Response From Trailmaster:
The horses in the Paint Your Own Pony kit are all solid-cast, artisan-grade resin.

Response From Trailmaster:
We currently only produce resin-cast figurines. We have never created plastic horses, which Breyer does.

IS THERE JUST A BOOK ON THE HISTORY OF THE NORTH AMERICAN PAINTED INDIAN HORSES? THANKS
Response From Trailmaster:
The Thomas Mails books on Native Americans have the best descriptions of the horse painting traditions of different tribes.

Response From Trailmaster:
We would need more information in order to answer this question. Can you take a picture and send it to us?

Do you know where I may be able to find the retired, Maps and Legends?

This particular design has not yet been crafted into a figurine. It was a custom design that we showcased on our Facebook page.
