We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

I have a small collection of painted ponies some of which are now retired, I am interested in selling but do not know how to go about it can you offer any suggestions
Response From Trailmaster:
At this point, the primary way to resell Painted Ponies is through eBay. Since you are writing from Australia, not sure how that would work, how shipping would be handled.

I have purchased "night flight" one tip of the wing is broken off. Do you have a return policy or how can this be fixed. Thanks
Response From Trailmaster:
Sorry to hear this. Please check with the retail location where you purchased the piece and see what their return policy is.

I have an ear broken on my pony, What is the best way to fix it?
Response From Trailmaster:
Super glue should probably be used to re-attach the broken piece. You may want to check with a local crafts store to see what they would suggest about smoothing and repainting the crack.

I have two 2009 ponies, “Carries the Spirit, and “Bonanza”. I don’t find them on the collector’s checklist? We’re they issued by Trail of Painted Ponies?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes, they were.

I noticed that Autumn Dancer,#12271 made in 2008 is missing the edition numbers is that the way all of them were made. Or is this a mistake
Response From Trailmaster:
It sounds like this was a human error. Sorry about that. It sometimes happens.

I have a 1583 Anasazi Spirit Horse and we recently moved and both ears broken off. I found one but cannot find the other. Please any suggestions on what to do
Response From Trailmaster:
That's unfortunate. The best suggestion we can make is to pick up some Sculpy at a hobby store and try and recreate the missing ear.

I was wondering what the numbers on the bottom of the horses mean. their edition and the number that follows and how do those numbers change their value?
Response From Trailmaster:
The answer to all these questions can be found in the Q and Q section of our website.

On the Photo Treasure Hunt Winner Announced page there is a picture of a life size pony the is stars and strips. done antiquish That is a beautiful pony. Have you considered recreating it?
Response From Trailmaster:
That particular Pony was created by a Navajo artist who was very protective of the image, and expressed the desire that it not be reproduced as a figurine. We respected his wishes. You are right, it is beautiful, and it is on display at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia.

I was wondering if the painted ponies ever made these horse as a bradford exchange or not their names are: war Bird spirit, canyon runner spirit, cloud dancer spirit, spirit warriors spirit, blue feather spirit, and shaman spirit
Response From Trailmaster:
We don't have the kind of relationship with Bradford Exchange that would allow us to recreate one of their horses.

I have a 1E "Dream Horse" (by Janee Hughes) which came from a seller in Australia and has a plaque on it saying "Dream Horse". I have just purchased another "Dream Horse" from a UK seller. It is an earlier 1E. Strangely, it has no plaque, or any sign of ever having a plaque. Did the earlier ones not have the name plaques on the base? Thank you for your help. Jane
Response From Trailmaster:
"Dream Horse" was initially crafted by Westland with no title plaque. Then when The Trail moved to Enesco as our manufacturer, "Dream Horse" was re-crafted by Enesco with a title plaque. Beginning with the Winter 2010 release, which was the first release with Enesco, title plaques were included on all figurines.
