We try to answer questions daily. Questions are not posted until they are answered.

Here are answers to the commonly asked questions about where to resell Painted Ponies, and what their current value is:

When collectors choose to resell their Painted Ponies, we recommend doing so on eBay. There is also a Facebook group, which was set up by Painted Ponies collectors and is not monitored by The Trail of Painted Corporate Office, where you can offer your Painted Ponies for sale. Here is a link to that Facebook group:

To find the current perceived value of your Painted Ponies, we suggest searching on eBay for the same figurine with a similar edition number. If you have an eBay account, you can look up what that particular figurine has sold for recently, and that will give you an even more accurate perceived value.

My Tewa Horse has 5E/2.701 copyright 2004 and Trail of Painted Ponies LLC. What edition might it be?
Response From Trailmaster:
Fifth edition. That's what the 5E represents.

Are painted pony figurines worth anything without their boxes & styrafoam? I lost all of these in a flood.
Response From Trailmaster:
Serious collectors will want the original boxes that the Pony came in. That doesn't mean there aren't still collectors who will value the Painted Pony itself, however.

Janet Roy from Washington wrote on October 14, 2021:
I have War Pony 3784/5000 what edition is this?!?
Response From Trailmaster:
That would be the 3rd Edition

Nigel Delgado from Houston, TX wrote on September 27, 2021:
What is the average size of the painted horse figurine?
Response From Trailmaster:
The average size of our figurines is around 7". The rearing Ponies, of course, stand taller. From time to time we also do larger figurines.

Dorothy Andersen from Arizona wrote on August 30, 2021:
Do you have a picture of the painted pony from Dallas, Texas art gallery. My sister worked I on that one. It has the Dallas city under the horse. I would love to have a picture of it. My sister Joan Bareis has pass a way. No one in our family has seen it except me.
Response From Trailmaster:
I think you may be confusing The Trail of Painted Ponies with the public art project based in Dallas that featured Pegasus horses as the "canvas."

Butch Johnson from High Point, NC wrote on August 29, 2021:
I inherited a collection of 45 ponies. Is there a way to sell as a group?
Response From Trailmaster:
That's probably going to be a tough order. Though it will involve more work, your best bet is going to be selling them in smaller groupings, organized by theme, or individually.

April L. Roberts from Kentucky wrote on August 26, 2021:
What if any is the difference between editions?
Response From Trailmaster:
Each edition consists of 10,000 pieces. The First Edition would be the first 10,000 castings. The Second Edition would be the next 10,000. Every Painted Pony is numbered on the underside of the base.

Am putting my PP collection on EBAY. What is the best way to clean them off/been on display and are dusty. Just wipe down with dry cloth?
Response From Trailmaster:
Yes. And you might also want to use one of those aerosol sprayers used to clean computer keyboards.

The name of the Pony you are asking about is "Papoose." It came out in the summer of 2017 and it is sold out.
