You may join the more than 700,000 Special Olympics Volunteers around the world by contacting your local Program. Special Olympics Programs would not exist today if it weren't for the time, commitment, energy and enthusiasm of its volunteers. Special Olympics volunteers may become involved on many levels. You may become involved on the state/provincial level, national or international level, or volunteer locally at a Special Olympics Program in your community. Some volunteers offer a few hours of their time a year at specific events, while others work several hours a week year-around. Whatever your background, interests, availability or talents, there are extensive volunteer opportunities for you.
