Horse drawings and outlines may be colored with a variety of mediums including ink pens, colored pencils, crayons, markers, chalk, pastel crayons and of course watercolors or oil paints. Make sure that if you are going to color your drawing using paints or inks, you use the correct type of paper. Thicker watercolor paper gives you the most flexibility and it also provides a nice texture for painting and coloring. Don't forget to title your work of art...and who knows? You may even end up with a beautiful Painted Pony!
