The Trail of Painted Ponies - Holiday Design Contest

Everyone is invited to participate in The Trail of Painted Ponies 4th Annual Holiday Design Contest. Winning designs may be crafted as Holiday Figurines in seasons to come. No entry fees are required.

How to Enter:

Download the application and horse form, that will best suit your holiday design. Please note that there are 4 different horse forms.
Create your original work of art on one of these copyrighted and registered forms.
Use appropriate paper. For example if you are a watercolor artist use watercolor paper.
If you wish you may purchase the Paint Your Own Pony Kit and send us photographs of your completed design.
Please title your Holiday Painted Pony and include a narrative description of your submission.

Judging Criteria

Designs will be evaluated for beauty, the skill with which the design is rendered, the creative use of the horse form, the originality of the design and the concept or story behind the design. Imagery that holds its vitality even when reduced to the size of a collectible figurine is also encouraged.

Winning Designs

Winning Designs will be announced on December 31, 2009.

We assume all entries are original and are the works and property of the entrant, with all rights granted therein. We are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
In return for accepting the “financial and promotional package,” winners will agree to release to The Trail of Painted Ponies the reproduction rights to their winning entry.
Please note: Any and all designs submitted to The Trail of Painted Ponies are on the copyrighted and registered horse form and these submissions are property of The Trail of Painted Ponies. We regret that we cannot return any submissions. Happy Trails!
