The Trail of Painted Ponies invites the very best established and emerging artists in the world to submit their designs for Painted Ponies. If the designs are accepted, the artists are often commissioned to paint an original Painted Pony.
These original Painted Ponies have been exhibited in the finest museums and galleries in the United States including the Museum of the Horse in Lexington, Kentucky, the Booth Museum of Western Art in Cartersville, Georgia, the Eugene Thaw Collection at the Fennimore Cooper Museum and the Heard Museum in Phoenix. The Trail of Painted Ponies have also found permanent homes in important private collections.
This new American art movement is called "Pony Expressionism" and it has introduced artists to an entirely new world of collectors while providing collectors with a new way to see and collect miniature works of art.
